BROKEN-HEARTED

I Do Not Exactly Know If The Term "Brokenhearted" Is A Medical Condition But I'm Sure That We've Heard About It Countless Times, And Maybe Even Used It Before Too. 

I Saw a health Condition Called "Broken Heart Syndrome" Which Is A Heart Condition Often Brought About By Stressful Situations And Extreme Emotions. It Is A Sudden Weakness In The Heart Muscle. This Condition Can Also Be Triggered By A Serious Physical Illness Or Surgery. It Is A Temporary Condition Though Some Persons Continue To Feel Unwell Even After Their Hearts Get Healed. 

Broken Heart Syndrome Can Also Be Called "Stress Cardiomyopathy, Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy, Or Apical Ballooning Syndrome". People With This Condition May Experience Sudden Chest Pain Which Might Seem Like A Heart Attack, And Shortness Of Breath. The Exact Cause Of This Condition Is Not Known But It Is Believed To Occur Due To A Surge In Stress Hormones Which Reduces Blood Flow In The Arteries Of The Heart. Other Causes Include Sudden Illness Such As Asthma, Major Surgery, The Death Of A Loved One, Sudden Broken Bone, Or Some Drugs(Rarely). 

Most People Who Suffer From This Condition Recover Quickly Though It Sometimes Reoccurs. Some Of The Complications Of This Condition Include; Low Blood Pressure, Arrhythmias (Irregular Heartbeat), And Heart Failure. Medically, There's No Cure For Broken Heart Syndrome Though People Who Suffer From This Condition Get To Recover Almost Fully After Taking Medications Such As Aspirin, Beta-blockers (Eg Atenolol), Diuretics (Eg Furosemide), Angiotensin Converting Enzymes Inhibitors (Eg Lisinopril). 

A Cure For This Condition Can Be Found In Psalm 147:3 "He Heals The Brokenhearted And Bandages Their Wounds". This Verse Shows That Though There's No Cure Medically For Broken Heart Syndrome, There's A Spiritual Cure And It Comes From A God Who Can Heal The Broken Heart And Go Further To Bind Up The Wounds Caused Due To The Break. The Better News Is The Fact That God Provides "Perfect Healing" Which Brings About Wholeness And Completeness. A Wounded Person Has The Tendency To Wound Others, But God Through His Spirit Makes It Possible For Such A Person To Enjoy Absolute Healing And Intimate Friendship.

Dear Reader, Today happens to be one of those long and hectic days. Days when you do not really imagine your schedule to be tiring and draining, but you just come back all weak, and completely drained. Yes, that was what happened to me.  I lost my device just recently, and it wasn't a fun experience. Everything happened so fast that I didn't even know how I felt. I was stranded and confused. I know that I was hoping to get a better device soon, but I also didn't want to lose the one I was using the way I lost it. In fact, I cried after the incident 😄😅 Thankfully, I didn't have to stay without a device for long as God used my Dad to provide another one. The weather has been quite hot and dry in most places this period. I know that so many people like myself have been quite dehydrated and easily thirsty due to the weather change. Even after taking water sometimes, I still have this dry sensation and I always want more water!  The body has some mechanisms it uses to maintain homeostasis whenever we are thirsty or dehydrated.
