GRAND BEGINNINGS

You would ordinarily think that starting something is such an easy task until you get to the point where you actually need to start.

At that point, every fear, doubt, and accusation that has been in hiding shows up and takes the lead somewhere and somehow in your subconscious and conscious mind. They get so loud that you no longer hear the voice of courage and determination that brought you up to the point where you are.

To make things worse, someone like myself will think that 'Beginnings' ought to be grand, they ought to be well planned, and they just have to be perfect 👌(of course, we should show up in style), but sometimes it's far from that.

Beginnings just have to do with a move or a step. Sometimes the second step comes earlier, other times much later, but in all, a beginning has started. I've struggled with this for maybe more than a year, because I've always wanted it perfect and grand, but not anymore. I'm showing up and I'm glad that this very beginning will eventually turn out to be the best one ever.

Stick with me through this ride, will you??

Here's to my "Beginning"🥂.

  1. Thinking out loud; I always feel I am doing it wrong once I am about to start something even after all grand style preparations, in some cases I even loose motivation towards my mid journey...

    1. Exactly, or I feel like I shouldn't have started. But in the end, may it be worth it

  3. I have always believed in starting small with what you have but most times I had to deal with low self esteem and the fear of failure or even trying to prove a point.

    1. Yes! Especially when we see others doing better, but we don't even know how they started. In all cases, we start.

  4. I totally agree with you Pam. This is so true. I've learned that the beginnings might not always be great or as we fantasized, but in the end, what matters most is our resilience, hardwork and dedication to what we've started, without giving up in order to make it to the end. The Bible said "the end of a matter is better than the beginning"

  5. The beginnings do t always have to be grand. Most times what matters is the creativity and consistency. I pray God give you continue getting inspired by your work and also be a source of inspiration to other people.

  6. Grand style beginnings are good and fancy, but are not necessarily the judge of the outcome of what we do. To just start alone is major regardless of how not styled it appears.

In a few short time with a sustained effort you'll be great, and we shall celebrate you because the Lord is going to keep you in His perfect will. Cheers Clone!🥂

  7. Indeed Various factors contribute into making you withdraw from your launch and leap.
One needs to just take the step and "start" while building on to achieve the greater goal set.
