FEVER-ISH

It has been a while on the blog and I can't say if I'm fully back but I have a little message for a "fever-ish" human.  A few weeks back, I was down with malaria. It has been quite a while since I treated malaria so long before now, I always had the feeling that I was going to come down with malaria knowing fully well that I have been quite stressed since I resumed back to school, and stress is one of the triggers to fever and by extension, malaria.  Before I ran some tests to confirm what was wrong, I was down with a "fever". I was so cold that even while I wrapped myself in a thick blanket, I kept shivering. Occasionally, I'd feel hot and restless but immediately I unwrapped myself, the chills were back like they never left. Such temperature swings!  Fever is a rise in body temperature, higher than the normal 37°C. This is when the body temperature is consistently over 38°C.
